Suede boots do something that leather boots don't quite manage which is to bring a textural warmth and softness to an outfit that works particularly well in autumn when everything else is getting heavier and richer in fabric and colour too. A suede Chelsea boot in tan or chestnut is one of our favourite pieces for exactly this reason. It adds something interesting to an outfit without being loud about it.
