More than three decades ago, the iconic Vans Half Cab skate shoe was born, heavily influenced and guided by the legendary Steve Caballero. The modern iteration showcases some upgrades in both material and construction for everyday use, but the spirit of the shoe remains rooted in skate culture. A redesigned SickStick sole unit features a deeper tread and uses Vans’ classic waffle tread pattern, whilst the upper portion of the shoe utilises reinforced zones in the leather to bolster durability. Part of Nick Michel’s Pro Skate capsule, the Vans Half Cab 92 is designed by skaters, for skaters.
